Following a degree in English and European Literature from Warwick University, a PGCE in
English and Drama from Westminster College, Oxford and a Masters degree in Theatre and
Performance Studies from Rose Bruford College/University of Manchester, Sam taught in a
variety of high achieving grammar and independent schools. She has also taught as an
associate lecturer at university level.

Sam currently works as a broadcast journalist and presenter for BBC radio and television in the
south of England and as a freelance writer for a number of online and print publications.
