​Job responsibilities

• Working directly with students to assist them in gaining a better understanding of concepts taught in the classroom; helping students review class assignments, review examinations and prepare for tests both inside and outside the classroom

• Helping students learn and understand new concepts and complete assignments; prepare lessons by studying lesson plans, reviewing textbooks in detail to understand the topic they will be teaching and providing additional projects if needed during a session

• Collaborating effectively with teachers or parents to track progress to increase student performance

• Demonstrating academic competence in the subject area(s) and build a curriculum

• Maintaining a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice

 

Requirements and skills:

• Be able to communicate with student in both English and Chinese (or another language) is a must

• Proven work experience as a Tutor or similar role 

• Patient, flexible, positive, consistent, dependable and cooperative 

• Ability to take supervision and correction constructively

• Ability to supervise students in a positive matter

• Facilitate problem-solving with a curious mind and critical thinking skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

 

Salary range: £27000 ~ £32000

Location: 77 Fulham Palace Rd, The Foundry, London W6 8AF

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
