Brief self-introduction: Experienced tutor with a real passion for my subjects and for teaching.

Tutor's skills: I try to find out what a student needs from our lessons when we start - whether it be ensuring that exam answers meet the exacting requirements of the exam board, understanding content, or building their confidence.

Teaching style: My teaching style is thoughtful, interactive and thorough. I will make sure that you understand and can recall a biological process before we move on, and return to any parts you struggled with in our next lesson. I also talk through exam questions, so that the technique is second nature to you by the time exams arrive. I understand from personal experience of dyspraxia, that even if you find something unusually hard, a creative way of making it work for you can be found. I look forward to seeing my students every week, and aim to make lessons as enjoyable as they are productive.
