Service Description

Phase 2: It is a 1-to-3 course. The main focus of each course is broadening the students’ knowledge and understanding of the full range of English Literature, such as students are taught in English schools and beyond! Moving towards GCSE-level, the course will focus on texts that are likely to be studied at GCSE and include significant language analysis, context, personal, reader and audience reaction as well as how to plan and structure a GCSE-level essay and obtain a top mark. Each course includes areas designed to build a student’s confidence, ways to improve their English Literature skills in all areas and lots of hints and tips for how to boost their mark in an exam situation. Towards the higher end of the age range, we select GCSE-past papers from the exam boards studied by your child to help them prepare for GCSE as much as possible.
