Phase 2: It is a 1-to-3 course. The main focus of each course is broadening the students’ knowledge and understanding of the full range of English Literature, such as students are taught in English schools and beyond! Our course for younger students will focus on the three main areas of literature: prose (novels), poetry and drama and will provide an introduction to the works of Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare and Jane Austen, amongst many others. Understanding of English tradition, heritage and culture will also be addressed as well as the students beginning to learn the Point, Evidence, Analysis technique for essay writing.
