Phase 2: It is a 1-to-3 class. Phase 2 The main focus of the course is learning how to write fluently and effectively in English with varied sentence structure, ambitious vocabulary and a variety of figurative language. Scheme of work: Lesson 1: Descriptive writing: places Outdoor settings Buildings Homework: describe a building or outdoor setting Grammar focus: Introduce or remind about SHAMPOO and ISPACED for descriptive techniques and sentence structure Focus on prepositions Using different senses Creating atmosphere Lesson 2: Descriptive writing: people A person important to you Writing about yourself Homework: write about a person who is important to you Grammar focus: SHAMPOO and ISPACED Vocabulary of emotion Focus on conjunctions Using different tenses.
