NARRATIVE WRITING The main focus of this course is learning how to write fluently and effectively in English with varied sentence structure, ambitious vocabulary and a variety of figurative language. We also factor in past papers from a variety of well-known independent schools to prepare the students for the range of exams that they may take. 1 Introduction: Descriptive Writing Crash Course Parts of Speech: Writing with Nouns, Adjectives, Verbs, and Adverbs all in the SAME SENTENCE. Followed by the 5 Senses: Writing with Sight, Sound, Smell, Touch, and Taste... 2 Narrative Sequence: Continue the Story We consider a common 11+ style question: Continue the Story.
